Introduction : One child a week is fifty-two a year. Squish them and squiggle them and make them disappear.

This story comes to a very interesting point. It turns your world into imaginary world that full of magic and witches. The witches are living among us and you can't even recognize them. It creeps me at some points but it arouse my interested to read more. The story also emphasizes a close relationship between a grandmother and a grandson and it reminds me about my grandmother's storytelling time.  This book I have been read for several times and the characters plotted well. How the grandmother convinced her grandson about witches, how she protected her grandson from witches and how the grandson failed the witches plan at the end. It is an amazing books and worth to read.

Cerita ini dibawa oleh Roald Dahl, seorang penulis yang terkenal. Cerita beliau membawa anda ke sebuah dunia imaginasi yang penuh dengan magik dan ahli sihir. Dunia anda berkongsi dengan ahli sihir yang berwajah manusia dan mereka sukar dikenalpasti. Kadang-kadang, cerita ini agak mengerikan tetapi pada masa yang sama, ia juga menimbulkan rasa minat saya untuk terus membaca. Cerita ini menekankan hubungan di antara nenek dan cucu dan buku ini mengingatkan saya kepada nenek saya. Watak di dalam buku ini dibawa dengan baik sekali. Bagaimana nenek menyakinkan cucunya tentang kehadiran ahli sihir, bagaimana nenek melindungi cucunya daripada ahli sihir dan bagaimana cucu mengagalkan rancangan ahli sihir. Buku ini sememangnya berbaloi untuk dibaca oleh kalangan anak-anak muda.
